My New Venture

So here I am again, not blogging! Well, here's to trying to post once a week starting very soon. I will be revamping my blog a little. I'm still going to post about homeschooling, housekeeping, frugal living, and all things near and dear to my heart, but I've added one more thing to love. ORIGAMI OWL!! Have you heard of it??

Origami Owl is one of my new favorite things. It's like a shadow box/scrapbook around your neck!! You get to show it off to everyone! You can make it for your family, an "in memory of", change it out for the holidays, your birthday, a favorite book, movie, or TV show themed locket. The possibilities are absolutely endless.

In honor of my 6 month anniversary, I'm doing a giveaway! I'll be giving away a $25.00 gift certificate to one lucky winner! The gift certificate must be redeemed through me. There isn't a way to redeem it on my website, however you can use the website to browse the product. I can also mail you a catalog. Sometimes having one of those to shop from is better!

Imagine what you could do with that much money to spend!! For my very first party, I wasn't yet a Designer. My party total was $888.00. I walked away with $175.00 in free product, 4 half-priced items, and 50% off the Hostess Exclusive. That means the Designer who did my party made about $355.00.... off of ONE party.... WHAT?!

Yes, you heard that right!! Origami Owl is also a great business opportunity. It's only about 2 years old. MANY people haven't heard of it yet!! It sells itself. I started because I loved the product. The money wasn't so bad either! I was able to pay CASH for ALL of our Christmas gifts. That was a HUGE sigh of relief. The average Designer makes around $65 an hour. A $650.00 party will give you about $260.00 in commission! Just 4 parties a month and you've made about $1000.00!! What would you do with that? We plan on paying off some bills first, then I'm saving that for vacations that we never get to take! Woohoo!!
